~Introduction Welcome! This is my role-play journal which records the majority of my recent IJ and LJ based role-playing activity. Since my migration from LJ a few years ago I no longer use that system for role-playing or personal journaling, although it has some excellent resource communities and stand-alone user sites. Since the collapse of GJ I no longer use that platform and thus role-playing is sole conducted through IJ. ~Me My name's Jon, I'm in my early twenties and I live in Wales, so am running in the GMT timezone. I've just graduated University, with a 2:1 BA in Ancient History, and am currently working fairly long hours. Aside from spending a fair amount of my time online and generally on the computer (I also play SIMS 2 & 3) I garden, growing my own fruit and veg and battling with the Welsh climate. I have a long-term partner, and she and I are planning to get married soon and start a family that doesn't revolve around our three cats. We run role-play communities together, as well as have a handful of long-running PSLs and private communities. ~Roleplay Over the last few years I have tended to play in original historical settings, but I am not stranger to certain fandoms, more especially Harry Potter where I play Marauders or even older generations. I have also participated in mixed-fandom role-palys for the last few years playing characters from literature, film and TV. I also tend to play slash pairings up to a R-rated level, and will play het romances up to a certain level of intimacy. I prefer journal based role-playing and threading, as this gives me ample chance to reply around a rather hectic RL schedule.
